LEGENDS OF TOMORROW COMPROMISED REVIEW
Season 2 Episode 5:So Legends of Tomorrow tonight was one of my favorite episodes of the series mostly because it was in the 80's and I loved the Miami Vice vibe from Darhk and Reverse Flash.
So the episode is about the team trying to track down Damien Darhk and they find him in 1987 where he is trying to kill Regan and Gorbachev while they are coming to the agreement to stop the cold war.In the episode, Vixen enlists the help of Obsidian from 87 where he blames Vixen for leaving the team and that's how they all fall apart and the rest died.
The episode ends with a huge fight between the legends on Darhk with his goons in at the dinner where Regan was supposed to be that is why he had the bomb there.Sarah tells Damien his whole destiny of being murdered as she held herself back to kill him and Ray disarms the bomb.
The final scene in the episode has Reverse Flash taking Damien to the future!
My favorite scene in this episode was the end fight with the legends and Damien Darhk, I loved the close ups on Firestorms and commander steel's faces when they activated their powers. But the end with Sarah telling Darhk is while destiny was a dumb move, now he's going to probably 2016 and is going to assemble the legion of doom.My other favorite scenes were the scenes between Mick and Ray, there has been a really neat friendship between the characters over the series and I like how at the end Mick was like "Rat, just be Ray."
The stand out character of the episode for me was Ray Palmer. His arch over the episode of him trying to fill in the shoes on Captain Cold was great to see but the realization that he should just be Ray was even better. But He has no chance of having powers again, his suit gone and he can't rebuild a new one because he doesn't own his company anymore and he dismantled the cold gun.But he has to get the atom suit again in the next 2-3 episodes for the crossover and why we have seen he has it on.
I also can't wait to see the legion of Doom assemble.
Overall compromised is a great episode and one of my favorites of the whole series.I liked the 80's theme and the soundtrack was 80'sfied and it was awesome.Good news, legends of tomorrow got extended for four more episodes this season so it is 17 episodes long, Yay.I would like to hear your thoughts on the episode down in the comments below. As always thanks for reading, take care.
