STAR WARS EPISODE VI: RETURN OF THE JEDI:

Return of the Jedi may not be my favorite Star Wars film, but I enjoy it, the arch of Darth Vader being redeemed was great to see, the opening scenes as Jabba's palace were awesome, all three parts of the battle of Endor were suspenseful and great, and best of all, Admiral Ackbar is the best.

My favorite scene in Return of the Jedi is the lightsaber duel between Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader. It was great to see the battle from Empire mirror what happens in Return of the Jedi, with Luke cutting off Vader's hand.

The characters in the film were great, the standout character in the film for me was David Prowse (body) and James Earl Jones (voice) as Darth Vader. The character got his redemption arc in the film which was great to see, especially at the end when we see his force ghost with Obi-Wan and Yoda because in the original cut, you see the ghost and it takes a little moment to realize that, that is Vader.
I also enjoyed the reveal of the Emperor, the great one controlling the Empire.
Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia, Harrison Ford as Han Solo, Peter Mayhew as Chewbacca, Anthony Daniels as C3PO, Kenny Baker as R2D2, Billy Dee Williams as Lando Calrissian, Frank Oz as Yoda, Alec Guinness as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Warick Davis as Wicket, Denis Lawson as Wedge Antilles, Erik Bauersfeld as Admiral Ackbar, Jeremy Bulloch as Boba Fett and the great Ian McDiarmid as Emperor Palpatine.

Overall, Return of the Jedi may not be the strongest film in the original trilogy but I still enjoy it, I will give it a 9.5 out of 10.Leave your thoughts on the film down in the comments below. As always thanks for reading and may the force be with you
