FUTURE OF PRINCESS LEIA
Carrie Fisher sadly passed away 11 days ago, I didn't want to get onto this topic straight away but it has to be addressed. The future of Princess Leia/General Organa in the Star Wars universe. Her scenes in episode 8 have been filmed, but episode 9, there are multiple routes they could take, they could have a digital recreation of the Carrie Fisher, they could have the digital recreation but decrease the role that she plays in the film, or they could kill Leia off.
I feel that the second option is the best, Leia is too pivotal to the story of Star Wars to kill off, but her role needs to be decreased because having a deceased actor recreated on screen I feel isn't overly right.I mean in Paul Walker's case it kind of worked as he filmed half of the scene for Furious 7 before he died. But Episode 9 hasn't started filming. But Leia does need a small role in the film like the technology is all there. If 19-year-old Carrie Fisher can be digitally recreated, why can't 60-year-old Carrie Fisher be digitally recreated?
Carrie Fisher does need a send off in the franchise in a nice way which honors her.
May Carrie Fisher rest in peace as well as her mother Debbie Reynolds.
Ther might be a trailer for Episode 8 soon so stay peeled for that.
Leave your thoughts in the comments on what you think should be the future for General Organa. As always thanks for reading, take care and may the force be with you ... always
