KONG: SKULL ISLAND NON SPOILER REVIEW
Hey, everyone, Kong Skull Island is out, and it is a great film. This is a non-spoiler review, but I will spoil the post credit scene which has already been leaked because there's the internet. But let;'s get into the review.
Kong Skull island is a film which presents Kong in a different manner. Yes he is much bigger, he is around 100 ft tall (30 meters), but it is also shown in the film why Kong got pissed off, and why he hates nearly all humans. Imagine if some came into your house and started blowing it up, you would get pissed, and in this film Kong does. But eventually, Kong does become a hero as to expect.
In the film when Kong wrecks stuff up, he does damage. The strength of the character is shown in the fight scenes.
I was glad in the film Kong showed up relatively early on in the film and we did not have to hand around waiting for his appearance.
In the film we do follow a cast of human characters, my personal favorite was Samuel L. Jackson, he was great in this. Tom Hiddleston and Brie Larson were also in this film the characters were okay, alongside them was John C. Reily, Corey Hawkins, Jing Tian, John Goodman, Jason Mitchell, Shea Whigham, and Toby Kebbell as Kong.
In the film Kong there was a post credit scene, so spoilers for that. In the scene we have our main characters watch a tape which contains images of Mothra, Rodan, King Ghidorah, and Godzilla. This is teasing the Kong vs Godzilla film in the making, however, will the two have to join forces with other monsters or fight them. It is confusing on how that film will play out.
In this big Kaiju, crossover film is there going to be a new cast of human characters, as the characters in Skull Island will be too old to really help out in the action as this film takes place in the 70's, and who knows if we will have the Godzilla human characters show up.
I would like to hear your thoughts on the film Kong Skull Island down below, and if you haven't seen it go see it. I will give Kong: Skull Island a 7.5 out of 10. As always thanks for reading, take care.
