RIVERDALE SEASON 2 TRAILER BREAKDOWN
The trailer for Riverdale season 2 is out, it came out at Comic Con and it is short but intense, I will cover some important scenes, but not too many. The trailer was connected to season 1 bloopers, so sorry about that. So let's breakdown the trailer.
Continuing straight from the season 1 finale, Archie (KJ Apa) carried his wounded father, Fed (Luke Perry) to the hospital where he will hopefully be okay. In the hospital is Betty (Lilli Reinhart), Veronica (Camilla Mendes), and Jughead (Cole Sprouse), in the background is the Cooper parents. What would they all be doing in the hospital I wonder, well possibly witnessing Polly give birth to the twins, which would be interesting to see the babies bought into the show and how they change the dynamics between characters.
Archie was about to say something about the shooter, but he doesn't say. Jughead later confronts Archie about this. This makes me think that FP, Jugheads dad shoot Fred, and not wanting to tell his best friend that everything he believed in was a lie and his father was a possible murder, Archie stops to tell Jughead.
Even in his house, Archie seems to be on edge, carrying a bat with him. I am excited to see this new traumatized side of Archie as in season 1 he always ran head first into danger, but this season, he seems like he will stop to think twice.
The last shot of the trailer is Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) telling her mother (Nathalie Boltt) that everything will be all right. I really think Cheryl torched her own mother, that's why she is in the fully in bandages.
Anyway, comment below your thoughts on the trailer, I would really like to know. Riverdale returns to the CW on October 11. As always thanks for reading, take care.
The Marvel Netflix tv shows, The Defenders is out and having of binged it within two days, let's review the show.
The Defenders revolves around vigilantes, Matt Murdock/ Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Danny Rand, the Immortal Iron Fist (Finn Jones) have to face the dangerous organisation the hand, who threaten both the heroes vigilantes lives and their personal lives. The Defenders team up to put an end to the hand when they surface in New York, with the leader, Alexandra (Sigourney Weaver) having resurrected Elektra (Elodie Yung) to take out The Defenders.
First things first, one of the great things about the Netflix shows is the title sequences, Defenders does not disappoint, I loved the use of color and the silhouettes of the characters over the map of New York, it looked amazing, and the music really made me get into the mode to watch the show.
Going through initial thoughts, I really enjoyed the serie…
It has been known that ever since Zac Snyder stepped down from directing Justice League due to a family tragedy, Joss Whedon has stepped in. And he is now doing a series of reshoots for the film, heavily involving Ray Fisher, Cyborg.
It appears that these reshoots may be making Cyborg a more light hearted character, to shift the tone of the film more. We saw that CVyborg was going to be a darker character from the horror like scene he was in Batman vs Superman, and it seems like, having a tragic backstory, and not having any feelings seems something easy to make dark, however, to lighten up the tone of the character like the rest of DCEU, the reshoots are making Cyborg lighter in tone and not so sad all the time.
The recentr trailer has shown this with Cyborg making some quips.
It has also been said recetnly that in Justice Legaue, Cyborg will hold resentments towards his father in the film. This is probably because Victor wishes he had died rather than to become Cyborg and loosing s…
The trailer for Supergirl season 3 has come out of Comic-Con, and there is a decent amount of footage, especially as it has only been filming for a couple of days. WHat I do have to say is that the trailer did seem more in the tone of say, Batman, rather than Supergirl, it seems like it may be going a flash route where it goes dark for the third season, maybe a little too dark.
But let's take a look at some of the shots of the trailer:
It seems like through the beginning of the season Kara will be very upset, but she is bottling it up, trying to be the girl of steel, which is the title of the episode. I feel like Melissa Benoist can pull off a really angry, depressed Kara.
Here is Erica Durance who is playing Alura Zor-El, Kara's mother, who appears to be in some sort of vision. New visions that Kara might have of her mother, like how Arrow had flashbacks. This may be how Kara is dealing with the loss on Mon.
Here is the villain, Reign, played by Odette Annable. I am curious …
