SPIDERMAN HOMECOMING SPIDERMAN DISCUSSION

With Spiderman Homecoming out we dived deeper into the Tom Holland version of Peter Parker. So spoilers ahead for Spiderman Homecoming, as we will be discussing the character the film and his future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In the film we did Peter back in Queens after Civil War with the new suit, he chased the new villain, the Vulture (Michael Keaton) to try prove himself an Avenger. In doing so Peter has to learn what it truly means to be a hero.

What I enjoyed about this narrative is that it was kind of like an origin story, Peter being the hero, the Spiderman without doing the origin stuff like Uncle Ben. It was a new narrative which really workers for the film. Learning Peter Parler more as a human was a very good move to take the character in the film because it brought a sense of representation and realism to the film.

My favorite scene of Peter in the film was the ending where he really learned about what it means to be a hero and denied membership to the Avengers. It is an interesting scene which really proved that the character learned from his mistakes in the film and showed that he developed a sense of maturity through the course of the film.

Going forward into the MCU, we know that he is going to be in Avengers Infinity War next year, where he will be wearing his new suit seen at the end of the film. From there Tom Holland will play the character in Avengers 4, the two Spiderman Homecoming sequels, but him appearing in the Venom and Silver & Black film is still up in the air, but it is most likely.

Anyway, Tom Holland was sensational as Spiderman and really lifted his own solo film which is a hit. Comment below your thoughts on Tom Holland as Spiderman down below, including your favorite scene or what film you are most excited to see him in next. As always thanks for reading, take care.
