DCTV 2 NIGHT CROSSOVER 2017

It has been announced on the Entertainment Weekly that the DCTV crossover this year, between Supergirl, the Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow, will be a 2-night crossover, Monday, and Tuesday.

So half the nights! What is going on? Well,  I think we need to take a look at the current schedule to see why there is only a 2-night crossover.
  • Monday
      • Supergirl
  • Tuesday
      • the Flash
      • Legends of Tomorrow
  • Wednesday
  • Thursday
      • Arrow
With Legends of tomorrow moving to Tuesday, DCTV on the CW is only on three nights, with only two of them being consecutive, Monday and Tuesday. So the schedule for the crossover is:

  • Monday, November 27, 2017
      • Supergirl
      • Arrow.
  • Tuesday, November 28, 2017
      • the Flash
      • Legends of Tomorrow.

So it is drastically different from the regular schedule that will be happening, Arrow is moved from Thursday to Monday, only for the crossover, which is episode 8. It does make sense having a self-contained crossover, not skipping a night, and finishing on the team up show, like last year.
The Monday half of the crossover will air an hour later, at 9 pm E.T, rather than 8 pm.
The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow will remain in their same time slots on Tuesday. The episode the crossover will be for the shows in episode 8 like it has always been.

I was wondering how this was all going to work out, I thought Legends of Tomorrow was going to air on Wednesday, to keep the trend of the 4-Night crossover going. This year, the crossover is going to be a true four-night crossover though, with Supergirl's episode included in the story, however, like the previous crossover you do not have to watch the other shows to know what is going on.

Looking at possibly stories, they could do Suicide Squad for the crossover story, or many people are suggesting, if the conflict starts on Supergirl as that is the first show, it could be an alien conflict, such as War world, which has been referenced a couple of times, and it would be really neat seeing Supergirl get the help of Arrow, the Flash, and the Legends to fight through or take down this alien gladiator ring.

Anyway, the 2-Night crossover will still bring us 4 hours, from the shows, it is going to be awesome. It is a while off so we will hear more as we get closer to November. I would like to hear your thoughts about the crossover this year, it being 2-Nights, and what do you want to see be the story, comment below. As always thanks for reading, take care.
